This single-channel, line-level device is the final component before the amplifier. The SpeakerSense circuitry safeguards the UM-1A loudspeaker components from high-power overheating damage. It monitors driver power and limits outputs when safe limits are exceeded. There's also a switch-selectable Safeguard function for added safety during anticipated overloads. Setup controls are conveniently located behind a front panel cover plate.
