MADI is a popular protocol for high channel count audio. It's easy to use and has low signal loss over long cables. It now transmits up to 64 channels.
DiGiCo offers two MADI DMI cards. The MADI-B (BNC) can connect 64 channels of audio in and out at 48kHz and 96kHz. At 96kHz, the B connection is needed for full channels.
With SD/4REA4 integration, control I/O connected to 4REA4 from an SD console.
