Available in two variants:• 16-channel version: 16 mono inputs to a stereo mix output, with 6 Aux Outputs. Total Inputs to Mix: 22.• 12.2-channel version: 12 mono inputs, two full-feature stereo inputs and 2 group busses, with 6 Aux Outputs. Total Inputs to Mix: 26 (when Mics used on stereo input). Each model has 6 auxiliary sends.
Soundcraft consoles are known for operational simplicity, clear layout, and top-notch audio performance. The GB2R inherits great designs from the GB4 and GB8.
Installation is a breeze! The connector section is in a rotatable pod, giving easy cable access from the top (on table-top) or rear (in 19' rack).
On the 12.2 model's stereo inputs, you get both Mic and Line inputs. Mic signals go to the local channel, and Line inputs are stereo returns to the main mix bus. There are two stereo returns and a 2-track input, so it can offer up to 26 inputs in a 19' (485mm) wide mixer.
Every input has a pre/post switchable direct output for recording or effects sends, and an internal universal voltage PSU means no external power supply needed.
The GB Series is all about high quality, just like Soundcraft. They've paid great attention to mechanical construction for reliability. All input modules are built with individual vertically-mounted pcb's, fitted to the steel chassis front panel with individually-nutted potentiometers.
