This 1 RU device seamlessly integrates into the d&b system, right in front of the amplifiers in the signal chain. It sends metadata like Milan channel labels and cabling info via the AES3 channel stream to the d&b four channel amplifiers.
With its fully AVB-enabled 5-port switch, it offers a primary and redundant network for the Milan protocol. This gives you extended connectivity to control the d&b amplifiers using the R1 Remote control software via the OCA protocol, all through a single Ethernet cable.
The front panel matches the d&b Touring rack assemblies' I/O panel for easy integration. And it has a power supply suitable for 100 V – 240 V, 50 – 60 Hz mains voltages, with up to 400 V overvoltage protection.
